What is a Training Partner?

 

There are very clear guidelines and obligations that need to be met when working with a Registered Training Organisation. Some training organisations want to provide training courses but do not want the challenges or simply cannot afford the investment in becoming a Registered Training Organisation.

With SDS Training and Security we provide a training partner program that ensures you can deliver our training courses and qualifications to your clients, without the burden of becoming an RTO.

 

With SDS Training and Security you run your own successful business. With SDS Training and Security you deliver training courses under the guidance and training of SDS Training and Security, With SDS Training and Security we take care of the training resources and materials. With SDS Training and Security we provide for quality auditing practices so we meet our RTO licensing requirements.

 

With SDS Training and Security there is a cost involved in becoming a Partner, however, we provide for a cooling-off period and a guidance period to ensure the training provided is of the standard required by SDS Training and Security. There are requirements and guidelines for becoming an approved training partner with SDS Training and Security. With SDS Training and Security we have a Memorandum of Understanding Agreement which covers each party’s obligations and commitments to ensuring success.

 

With SDS Training and Security we have an expectation that our partners will deliver training to students on a regular basis every month. With SDS Training and Security you can be assured of joining a strong network of quality trainers but most importantly with our support, you will never be left on your own.

 

Your Responsibilities

 

As an SDS Training Partner you will be required to:

  • Sign and follow through with the Memorandum of Understanding Agreement and its conditions.

  • Use only the resources provided by SDS Training and Security 

  • Become the point of contact for SDS Training and Security in your area.

  • Provide SDS Training and Security with the required accreditations and insurances.

  • Provide an approved training premises to deliver courses from.

  • Use only approved trainers that meet the requirements of SDS Training and Security.

 

As an SDS Training Partner you are responsible for:

​

  • Advertising and providing students and participants for the delivery of the training course

  • Following SDS Training and Security’s policies for the completion of all course and student documentation

  • Maintaining your Professional development and Continuous Improvement on a monthly basis.

  • Contracting and providing SDS Training and Security with information when required.

  • Completing an SDS Training and Security Induction and training course.

 

Whether you are the partner and the trainer or you may have the requirement for more employees, SDS Training and Security provide for that requirement of additional trainers to deliver training courses for their business. You will need to advise us of your situation during the application process.
